A talk and book signing of “Arabs: A 3000-Year History of Peoples, Tribes and Empires” by Tim Mackintosh-Smith will accompany an exhibition of old photography of Yemen by German photographer Ranier Hartel in the main gallery. This event will unite two admirers of Yemen and the Arab world, both of whom lived in Yemen during the same period but have never met. La Fontaine will bring them together to share their love and memories of Yemen.
