As part of artist and photographer Ghada Khunji’s ongoing series of projects, the artist returns this time with her project “Akkas”, turning her lens toward her birthplace, Manama. In this project, Khunji embarks on a journey through the city’s streets, capturing portraits of its inhabitants and documenting the rich cultural diversity that distinguishes historic Manama.
