This musical evening celebrates the oud through the distinctive artistry of Bahraini musician Mohammed Al Bakri in collaboration with Dr. Joo. Beginning his career at an early age, Al Bakri’s work is deeply rooted in Bahraini musical heritage, alongside notable contributions to theatre and drama. Joining him on stage is Dr. Joo Zhao, a Chinese musician and oud performer who has presented his work internationally and is known for combining Arabic music with East Asian musical traditions.
