The Grand Egyptian Museum: Egypt’s Gift to the World – Ahmed Ghoneim

Ahmed Farouk Ghoneim is Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and a research fellow at the Economic Research Forum, with extensive experience as a consultant to international organisations, including the World Bank, UNDP, and WIPO. He has held senior academic and executive roles, including Advisor to Egypt’s Ministers of Trade and Industry, Cultural Counsellor of Egypt in Germany and Austria, Chief Executive Officer of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and serves on several cultural and economic boards.
