It offers a rich selection of cultural activities, including tours, workshops, and interactive experiences for audiences of all ages, highlighting museums in safeguarding heritage and fostering cultural dialogue. Observed annually on 18 May and established by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), International Museum Day affirms museums as vibrant institutions that serve society and support cultural development.
