Journey Through Centuries of Encounters

“Timeless Echoes” is a trilingual panel-based exhibition presented in Arabic, English, and French, tracing the history and key milestones of Franco-Bahraini relations. It explores the enduring ties between France and Bahrain, from early maritime encounters and travellers’ accounts to the pearl trade, archaeological cooperation, and cultural exchange. Curated by the French Research Center for the Arabian Peninsula (CEFREPA) and finalised in 2025, the exhibition brings together historical texts, archival photographs, maps, and diplomatic documents.
