Perfumes is a multi-sensory concert celebrating poetic and musical creation inspired by the scents of the Orient. Bringing together French and Italian Baroque music with carefully selected fragrances, the performance unfolds as an immersive experience in which sound and scent move in parallel, heightening atmosphere and emotion. Drawing on Renaissance and Baroque traditions, the programme reflects how aromas such as frankincense, myrrh, and Damascus rose inspired composers and poets, while also evoking shared cultural and spiritual practices in which incense becomes a symbol of dialogue, connection, and long-standing exchange between traditions.
