Born in the heart of Muharraq, the Ismaeel Dawas Band, one of the oldest and most prominent musical groups, will participate in this year’s Spring of Culture Festival. Presenting an evening of folk arts, featuring the Ashouri art, a celebratory performance accompanying wedding rituals. The band will also showcase the Khamari art, named after the cloak worn by dancers, and the Bista dance, a traditional performance held after the Daza and wedding ceremonies.
