Al Jasra Crafts Centre is organising a Saff – Palm Tree Leaves Weaving (Qafa with the cover) workshop. The workshop reflects the optimal use of wicker palm derivatives and transforms them into daily tools used by parents and grandparents, such as food mats, storage baskets, small plates, and hand fans. This art is considered one of the traditional crafts that are still being practiced in some villages in the Kingdom of Bahrain, such as Karbabad, Al Jasra, and Budaiya.
